Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Hearing Loss

Since I mention my Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and my hearing loss with regular frequency, I thought it would be nice to create a page where I summarize my injury a bit and link to posts discussing my TBI and hearing.

I have mentioned many times previously that I was in an accident in September 2016 that caused me to experience a severe TBI where I was in a coma for three weeks. I am healing nicely but it certainly is a long process. My main complication from the TBI is severe hearing loss, distorted hearing and an inability to process music. In addition to writing about my TBI I also write about hearing (those posts are linked below as well).

I am in the process of writing a memoir about my TBI and coma which is why I have made the tagline for my blog “Writing My Brain Injury Story.” I update this blog pretty frequently with my writing progress.
