A monthly writing update about my commitment to the new NaNoWriMo event #StayHomeWriMo.
I switch around my posting schedule to write an essay. This essay is on the importance of imagination and how I used my imagination to make it through hearing distortions and brain trauma.
I set forth a concrete plan for finishing my memoir. My new goal is to have a rough draft completed and given to those who I’m having be my beta readers this month. Ideally mid-month.
I didn’t make my 50,000 words goal for Camp NaNoWriMo in the month of July. However, I’m still writing: #amwritingmystory #mybraininjurystory
An unscheduled blog post to announce where I’m at currently with my word count for my memoir for Camp NaNoWriMo.
Since Camp NaNoWriMo officially starts today (July 1) and I’m focused on completing a rough draft of my memoir, this month’s book recommendation is not 1 book but several. Each book is about writing and/memoir writing.
I announce (perhaps unsurprisingly) that I’m NOT doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) this November. I explain why and my plan for November.
An introduction to this blog and what this project is all about. I can finish the sentence “I’ve always wanted to be a...” By saying “... published author.” Hopefully I end 2018 closer to completing that sentence. This blog will hopefully help me to get there. As Tina Fey’s character on 30 Rock said “I want to go to there.”
