Okay boys, start your engines. The self-imposed May Speed Writing Challenge that I’m doing to write my May short story is starting NOW!

So like I said, the parameters are that it will last 2 days (a little less as the deadline is June 1) and it’s going to be a short story inspired by my teenaged niece. And she likes geography and soccer so I was thinking the plot would be a girl competing in a geography bee for a college scholarship. That’s what I have so far. No other parameters. No length parameters or anything like that.

I’ll let you know when I finish or if I hit any major hiccups.
